I first came to Oasis as a patient in 2012 and then started working as a Chiropractic Assistant in early 2014, while studying psychology at university.
I’ve always had an interest in the mind and its inner workings. As my studies progressed I became more and more interested in nervous system function.
I was fascinated by the way our whole body worked, and how the way our body functions can be totally altered by minor or major changes (stress, injuries, diet, illness etc.).
At the end of 2016, I completed my psychology degree and graduated, my initial plan was to go on and begin my post graduate studies. Through being at university and working here at Oasis I was learning more and more about the body, our nervous system and the way we function and was amazed at the changes I witnessed with patients on a daily basis.
Mid last year I decided this year would come with a change, and at the beginning of 2017 I began my studies in Chiropractic Science!
I am very excited to continue learning more about the interaction between our spine and nervous system, and how this influences the function of our ENTIRE body. I’m looking forward to becoming a Chiropractor in the future and being able to share my experience and help people achieve optimal function and wellness.
